Want to Break New Ground?

Head Check: What it Feels Like to Ride Motorcycles is live on Amazon.com, which means that just any old person can buy it, from all over the world. That’s an exciting notion for me.

But what does it mean for you, Loyal Reader? Yeah… you. Over there. The tall, good-lookin’ one with critical thinking powers and unexcelled leadership potential. What opportunity awaits?

Well, in the words of Amazon’s head robot, it means you can “Be the first to review this item.”

What do you say? Do you have what it takes to be a U.S. reviewer? We’re looking for a Few Good Reviewers.

But first, we’re looking for you. It’s one of life’s genuine opportunities to be Number One! The first in a series! Opportunities are strictly limited to… well, to one.

Gentlefolk, start your keyboards!

I can’t imagine my review will be the first, but it has been inserted into the maw of Amazon’s review processing machinery.

    • In fact, Lyle, you are the first!

Thank you very much for the kindness of your words, but even more for the inspiration. That’s the kind of review that makes a writer want to sit down over coffee and a keyboard and give it everything he’s got.

Excellent timing Jack…I just finished NOTHING IN RESERVE.
BTW,where does one acquire a “read a f******g book “sticker?

    • Well, mine was a well-intended gift from my delightfully iconoclastic mother-in-law. I happen to know where she acquired it, however. Try Left Bank Books, a socialist-anarchist, non-profit collective bookstore in the Pike Place Market.

Like Moto Guzzi, they’ve been going out of business for quite some time now.
